Pastoral Notes 11th October, 2015

Praying the Rosary in people’s homes is a common tradition, perhaps easier in smaller parishes, where people get to know each other and live within walking-distance. October is the month of the Rosary, but there is no reason to limit this practice to one month. Rothwell and Desborough have arranged to have time before Sunday Mass once a month to pray the Rosary – for our parish and for other intentions. Burton Latimer have a long-established afternoon (weekday) Rosary once a month, with the added draw of a cup of tea and biscuits! There are many different ways of praying together. The Legion of Mary continues to extend their invitation to people to invite them to their house – with anyone else – also to pray the Rosary, with the strict rule that only coffee/tea and biscuits are to be offered afterwards. Perhaps this would suit you?
