Triduum 2022
Maundy Thursday – St. Edward’s
7.00 pm – Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Not socially distanced). We would like to invite to this Mass all our Eucharistic Ministers, who will renew their promises. After ‘Behold the Lamb of God’ Father Gregory will ask them to stand up wherever they are sitting and ask them three questions, to which they will reply ‘I am’. After Mass, the church will be open for private prayers and Adoration until 9.00 pm.
Good Friday
11.00 am – Ecumenical Service in front of Toller Church, Gold St.
St. Edward’s
3.00 pm – Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord. After the reading of The Passion and after the Solemn Intercessions (10 prayers for different intentions) we will all come forward to the steps of the Sanctuary to bow before the cross, in the same way as we go to Holy Communion.
There will be the usual, annual Holy Places collection.
7.00 pm – Stations of the Cross
Holy Saturday – St. Edward’s
8.00 pm – Easter Vigil
Easter Sunday
St. Edward’s – Masses at 8.30 am and 10.30 am
Burton Latimer – 9.00 am, Desborough – 9.00 am, Rothwell – 11.00 am.
