ASH WEDNESDAY MASSES
Tuesday/Wednesday – 16/17th February

Tuesday (Vigil Mass) at 6.30pm
Ash Wednesday at 9.30am and 7.00pm.

Please continue to book seats in advance as the number of Mass attendees in our church continues to increase.

Ashes will be administered in the safest possible way.

After the homily Fr Gregory will say the following words from the altar: ‘Repent and believe in the Gospel’ or ‘Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return’,

and then he will approach everyone and sprinkle a pinch of ashes on the heads of Mass participants without saying anything and touching anyone.


STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Stations of the Cross will begin on Friday, 19th February at 6.30pm followed immediately by Mass at 7.00pm. Remain seated during the meditations; prayers for each Station will be led from the lectern. The prayers for each station will be shorter than normal.

During the Stations of the Cross, Father Gregory will be available to hear confessions in the Lady Chapel.
